Basmathi rice -1cup
Chopped onion -1
Chopped tomato -1
Green chilies -3
Red chili powder -1tsp
Methi -1 big bunch
Coriander powder -1tsp
Garam masala -1tsp
Turmeric -pinch
Butter
Oil
Ginger garlic paste -1tsp
Cumin seeds- 1tsp
Method:
1. In a deep pan add butter , add washed basmathi rice fry for a min and keep aside
2. In a same add oil , add cumin seeds and green chilli
3. Add chopped onions , ginger garlic paste and little salt
4. Add chopped tomato and turmeric
5. Cook on medium heat till tomato becomes soft
6. Add coriander powder and garam masala powder
7. Mix well
8. Add washed methi leaves , cook for a min
9. Add red chili powder mix well
10.Add 1 1/2 cup water and salt
11.Onces water boils add rice
12.Cook on medium heat with lid covered
13.Serve into a bowl
14.Serve hot with raita
